Purpose

Establish with the group a set of agreed behaviours that they will adhere to for the smooth running of the workshop.

 

Method

Engage the group in creating and agreeing a set of rules that they will abide by during the workshop.
Start the group off with some standard principles such as acceptable interruptions, use of mobile devices and common courtesies (such as one person speaking at a time).
When a group is involved in creating the contract by which they has agreed to work together they will be more invested in adhering to the principles.
