Creatively allow time for a group which may be strangers or from diverse areas of an organisation to familiarise themselves with other members of the group and foster greater understanding.
Where possible the ice breaker should be relevant to the topic of the workshop.
Method
Ice breakers should be tailored to and relevant for the group.
Example
Some starter questions to try:
What was your favourite book as a child and why?
What is your favourite thing to do on a day off?
Which song would you pick as the theme tune to a movie about your life and why?
What did you want to be when you grew up?
If you could eliminate one task from your everyday life what would it be and why?
